Russell educated and very experienced tutor, with an interest in mental wellbeing and mentoring, offering English literature, drama and sociology from KS 3-5.
Victoria has a BA in Sociology & Media and a MA in Education, Culture, Language and Identity. She has worked in Higher Education for over fourteen years, at a leading Russell Group University and now at a leading drama school. She runs personal statement workshops, summer schools and various outreach workshops. She also works with students on a 1-to-1 basis through academic support, life skills and pastoral care.
Victoria’s approach to tuition is very much bespoke, She works with each student individually to put together an appropriate plan of support. This usually starts by identifying up to five areas that need to be looked at and then tackling them one at a time. She uses the SMART approach, setting goals that are achievable. Each session starts with going through the plan and ends with going over what has been covered and planning for the next session.
Victoria is an avid reader and theatre goer. She also enjoys swimming (in the pool and fresh water!) and hiking.
