Paris is a qualified teacher (PGCE in Primary Education from 4 to 11 years old) with six years of experience, mostly in the state sector of education. She has mainly worked in deprived areas in North London and hence has a range of knowledge for working with children with a variety of backgrounds and educational needs. Paris has been tutoring previous students in Key Stage 1 and 2 on a 1:1 basis for over a year and has a wealth of experience in building trusted relationships with parents and her students. Her specialist area and passion are teaching mathematics and reading in the primary school age phase for children aged 4-11.
Paris believes that everyone should have belief and confidence in themselves and she strives to build on that during her tuition sessions with her students. From there, with a positive approach and attitude, she aims to identify the individual targets for her students and, therefore, create a clear plan to help them succeed. This leads to independence and to ownership of learning in order to support her students in exceeding their potential.
Paris loves to explore the world and travel to different countries, soaking up cultures that expand the mind. Skiing holidays are her favourite, and her hobbies include yoga, hiking and going out with friends. Paris is fluent in Farsi.
