After taking her French Baccalaureat in France, Karine moved to London. Some years later in 2014, she graduated with a BA degree in drama, applied theatre and education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Since then she has been using her creative skills to teach French in primary and secondary schools, and she has also been a private tutor to both children and adults.
Karine aims to make her lessons fun and engaging, using various tools and methods in order to keep her students alert and to cater for their ideal ways of learning. She is very supportive and approachable; she encourages the students to be curious and ask questions. An example of this would be, instead of laying out the grammar rules for them she might give a few relevant examples and clues that will enable them to work out the rules by themselves, keeping them active in their learning. Karine usually gives her students a bit of homework, because she believes learning comes with regular practice.
Karine is keen on yoga (she is currently on a teacher training course), circus arts, being in nature and cooking. She speaks fluent French and also speak Spanish to a basic level.
