Jack graduated from Queen Mary University of London in 2015 with a degree in zoology. He subsequently completed a PGCE in secondary science (biology) achieving 100% in his professional development profile. He graduated with Distinction and the highest mark in the science cohort for the final assignment. He recently completed a Master’s degree in science education at UCL. He has taught at several secondary comprehensive schools as a teacher of science and psychology. He has also tutored secondary school students, as well as many primary school students, in the core subjects and in preparation for the 11+ exams. He has helped several students studying science and psychology gain entry to university to study medicine and diagnostic radiography.
Jack is an enthusiastic and extremely patient tutor. He is passionate and committed to ensuring that sessions are tailored to the individual pupil’s needs, and ensuring that the students make maximum progress and achieve excellent results. Regardless of the ability and experience of a tutee, Jack remains extremely encouraging and optimistic.
Outside of work, Jack teaches Shotokan Karate, which he has been practicing for twenty years. He also enjoys reading, walking and cooking.
